Digital Channels & Storytelling

Foundation

The entry discipline for every learner regardless of background — narrative structure, format literacy and distribution strategy across the channels a story actually reaches an audience through today.

What you'll build

  • 01 A short-form narrative piece scripted, shot and cut for vertical and widescreen delivery.
  • 02 A channel strategy document mapping one story across three distribution formats.
  • 03 A pitch deck presented to faculty in a live studio review.

Core tools & skills

  • Story structure, editing craft, RGB Steam Lab production practice, channel analytics.

NextGen AI Cinema

AI Integration

Generative tools placed inside a real production pipeline, not treated as a novelty layer on top of it — previsualization, AI-assisted VFX, virtual production volumes and synthetic performance.

What you'll build

  • 01 An AI-assisted previsualization sequence for a live-action scene.
  • 02 A virtual production shot combining a real performer with a generated environment.
  • 03 A synthetic-performance test reel reviewed against ethical-use guidelines.

Core tools & skills

  • Generative video & image tooling, virtual production volumes, GTM Immersion Lab.

Extended Reality & Games

Immersive Tech

Real-time engines, spatial interaction design and headset-native storytelling — building for VR, AR and mixed reality where the audience is inside the frame, not watching it.

What you'll build

  • 01 A playable VR environment built in a real-time engine.
  • 02 A spatial UI/UX prototype tested in headset with live users.
  • 03 A short mixed-reality narrative experience.

Core tools & skills

  • Real-time engines, spatial interaction design, headset testing in the GTM Immersion Lab.
Venue
M4 · LBE

Location-Based Infotainment

Applied Experience

Designing shared physical-digital experiences for museums, theme attractions and MICE venues — where imagination has to survive contact with a real crowd, in a real room.

What you'll build

  • 01 A location-based experience concept, from floor plan to guest journey.
  • 02 A working walkthrough prototype tested with a live group.
  • 03 A venue-ready proposal deck for an infotainment installation.

Core tools & skills

  • Spatial design, crowd-flow planning, MICE production, on-site technical rigging.
Robotics

Robotics

Robotics

The hardware layer underneath every immersive production — physical automation, UAV systems and smart flying objects, built and flown by the learners who design them.

What you'll build

  • 01 An assembled and flight-tested UAV unit.
  • 02 A basic automation routine controlling a physical prop or set piece.
  • 03 A safety and operations plan for live production use.

Core tools & skills

  • UAV assembly & flight, smart flying objects, automation electronics.
ML
M6 · DAV

Artificial Intelligence

Applied AI

Applied machine learning for creative and customer-facing systems — the AI layer that quietly runs underneath the other six modules, made explicit and taught on its own terms.

What you'll build

  • 01 A trained model applied to a creative or customer-experience problem.
  • 02 An AI-driven customer-experience prototype.
  • 03 A model evaluation report covering accuracy, bias and responsible use.

Core tools & skills

  • Applied machine learning, AI & customer experience design, responsible-AI practice.
Stage
M7 · DAA

Dance, Acting & Acrobatics

Performing Arts

Physical performance training built specifically for capture — motion capture, virtual production and live location-based shows all depend on performers who can act for a suit, not just a camera.

What you'll build

  • 01 A motion-captured performance piece in the IDV Legacy Lab.
  • 02 A live acrobatic or dance sequence choreographed for camera.
  • 03 A performance reel combining physical and virtual footage.

Core tools & skills

  • Motion capture, choreography for camera, physical theatre, biometric suiting.
